Cooperation between SWKI and SwissCCS

After thorough consideration, the SWKI and SwissCCS associations have decided to formalise their future collaboration through a cooperation agreement. The two organisations signed a joint declaration of intent on 5 April 2024 and then examined the structural and organisational conditions for a possible integration of SwissCCS into SWKI. The analysis showed that the existing structures of the two associations do not currently allow for a smooth and sustainable integration.

The executive committees of both associations have therefore decided to end the integration discussions. Instead, the collaboration will be governed by a binding agreement. This agreement defines regular exchanges and the use of common channels in the areas of continuing education, standardisation and events. This gives both associations a clear basis for coordinated and technically harmonised collaboration without having to adapt their respective structures.

The SWKI and SwissCCS executive committees are convinced that this solution is the best option for both organisations and that it creates a reliable basis for a constructive future together. The agreement will be signed at the next SWKI general meeting.
